First Job of the Day… and a Flat Tire Tried to Stop Me

First job of the day. Gear packed. Schedule tight. Coffee in hand. I was ready to roll—literally.

Until my van decided otherwise. *Thump-thump-thump.*

Flat tire. Classic.

Now, I wasn’t panicking. I wasn’t nervous. I’ve done this before. I just didn’t have the right tools on hand to get moving again. And as much as I love pressure washing grime off concrete, changing a tire on the shoulder of the road isn’t quite the same kind of satisfying.

In comes our office manager, cool as ever. She pulled up like a total pro, spare tire ready, tools in hand, and absolutely zero judgment (well, maybe a smirk). In no time, she had me back on the road like nothing happened.

I got to the job, fired up the pressure washer, and knocked it out like a champ. The driveway sparkled, the customer was thrilled, and the only thing left behind was a good story.

Moral of the story? Flat tires don’t stop us. They just make us appreciate our team even more.
